Round 3 is a bouldering round.
Each competition category will have ten boulder problems to attempt.
Competitors can make up to five attempts per boulder problem.
Competitors are scored on the number of Tops and Zones they reach and the number of Attempts taken to do so.
Each competition group will have two hours to attempt their problems.
The provisional times for each competition group is as follows:
Youth E – 11:00 to 13:00
Youth D – 11:30 to 13:30
Youth C – 13:00 to 15:00
Youth B – 14:30 to 16:30
Youth A – 15:00 to 17:00
Competitors can attempt boulder problems in any order they choose.

The event is open to any young climber, including those from beyond Scotland. And it’s not just a competitive championship to decide the national (Scottish) bouldering champions in each age category, you are guaranteed a good days climbing and the opportunity to meet other climbers.
