The BMC La Sportiva Junior British Bouldering Championships are returning for 2021.
Date: 4 & 5 December
Location: Highball, Norwich
Categories: Junior, Youth A, B and C (please note; Junior and Youth A will be combined into a single category)

All competitors will need to provide evidence of a negative lateral flow test 24 hours prior to attending the competition.
Entry numbers;
Due to Highball’s COVID operating procedures, the total number of athletes, parents and BMC staff is capped at 120. This will create constraints. Further details of how this will be managed will be available when the registration opens.
All competitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by one parent/guardian only, but loco parentis can be used where required. If a parent/guardian, spectator or coach volunteers to assist in the running of the competition on the day, this will be in addition to the accompanying adult.

British Paraclimbing Championships 2021

Each category will face two qualifying routes and a final route.

Unfortunately there is no open category this year, the BMC would like to apologise for this. The BMC are planning to expand the open categories from 2022 and we wish to do this justice, to ensure our competitions are inclusive. For more information, please see here.
COMPETITION FORMAT
There are two qualification routes per category, there will be no isolation for these routes. The starting order for the first qualifying route is random. Then the starting order for the second qualifier is the same as the first but staggered halfway. E.g. If there are 20 competitors in the category, number 11 will climb first on the second qualifier.
For the finals, all finalists will be held in an isolation zone. There will be a six minute observation of the final route, and then the finals are climbed on-sight.

British Lead Climbing Championships 2021
With the end of 2021 in sight, GB Climbing are pleased to announce the return of the British Lead Climbing Championships.

Categories: Youth A, B and C, Senior (16+)
Each category will face two qualifying routes and a final route.
Categories Youth A, B and C will climb on Saturday 20 November.

G-Force 20 DUBLIN
G-Force 2020 at Gravity Climbing Centre, the biggest and best climbing competition in Ireland this year!
There are 3 options for buying tickets – Each option corresponds to a designated time slot for climbing – you must register online here to enter, you cannot register in the centre.
Students can use the discount code ‘STUDENT’ when buying a ticket. You must bring a valid up-to-date student card with you on the day.
Your ticket includes entry to the competition, T-shirt, goody bag, food and entry to watch the semi-final & final rounds if you don’t make it through to compete!
If you would prefer not to receive a t-shirt and have that money go to our chosen envirnmental cause instead, please indicate that in the question field. Our chosen cause is the Native Woodland Trust.

How do we enter as a team?
Team members just enter individually, there is a field for your team name on the entry form, make sure your team member all enter the same team name there. Teams are 4 people, at least 1 female.
I just want to spectate, do I need a a ticket?
No, it’s free to com along and watch the final/ semi-finals
Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, you must be aged 14 or over. If you’re aged under 18 and are not already a registered member of gravity, please contact us gravityclimbingcentre@gmail.com. Under 18’s should be accompanied by an adult.
