THE CELLARS BOULDERING AT FORT PURBROOK

Bouldering at Fort Purbrook takes place in the Cellars, providing a stimulating and safe environment to learn and progress your climbing skills. Accessed via a network of underground tunnels, the Cellars boast two indoor purpose built bouldering rooms.
Always at the top of children’s lists is the challenge of reaching the top of our purpose-built bouldering rooms. This session is great for developing self-confidence and trust in others. After a thorough safety briefing and tips on effective technique from qualified instructors, young climbers will each get the chance to summit the walls while being encouraged from their peers.
The bouldering walls are amongst the most challenging and satisfying of our adventure activities, in terms of individual achievement. Our purpose-built indoor bouldering rooms provide the ideal opportunity to develop co-ordination, stamina and determination, whilst learning basic climbing skills and techniques.
This is the perfect activity for parties, school groups, work groups and more. If you are a school looking for a different way of bringing your subject alive, we can tailor the sessions to meet your lesson and curriculum objectives.
Bouldering is fun, healthy and safe!
