Peterborough Climbing Wall is suitable for bouldering, top roping and leading. It consist of a 7 meters high moulded surface wall, with slabs, cracks, overhangs and arêtes. There is also a 7 metre roof section including a large stalactite; a Bat Cave for bouldering, featuring a ‘Woody Wave’ roof. For keen trainers there is a balcony traverse, finger boards, a campus board and rope ladder.
If you are, over 18, can put a harness, tie in with a suitable knot, and belay, you can come along register for free, and climb. You can supervise two novices or children. Competent 14-18 year olds may also register to climb on their own, with their parents’ consent. If you are not a competent climber then you will need to book an introductory lesson to learn to put a harness, tie in and belay.
